The people of Barbados, Bajans (Bay-jans) as they are referred to, have styles all of their own. Trends come and go like the cool Caribbean breeze, and nobody wears the same outfit twice. Every event or special occasion merits a new outfit, hairstyle, nails, and shoes. Styles only last until somebody else does something new.
Hairstyle and colour do not need to look natural once they are trendy. The more outrageous the hair colour and the more intricate the designs on one’s nails, the better they are! If it’s new, it’s good and if it’s a brand name, it’s considered cool!
