Accra Beach
|
Accra Beach is a lovely bay, with white sandy beach and calm sea. This is an ideal swimming location and popular amongst both tourists and locals.
Things to Do
There are beach chairs to rent for $5BDS per day, umbrellas for $10 BDS a day and boogie boards to rent for $10 BDS per hour.
There are many vendors selling beachwear, gifts and local craft, in the many huts provided by the National Conservation Commission (NCC). There are recreational facilities of toilets, showers, children's playground, and beach bars selling good local food and drinks. You can relax on the seating provided in this area.
There are no water sports operating form this beach and all of the vendors are approved by the NCC and only operate from the huts, so once on the actual beach you can just focus on the important task on sun bathing and relaxing. This is also a good beach for body surfing.

We've been to a lot of beaches, but by far have found Rockley / Accra beach to be the best. Friendly people, excellent waters. We frequently left our stuff on the chairs and didn't have a problem.

A superb child friendly, people friendly, gorgeous typical palm tree caribbean beach with lots of restaurants/bars/supermarkets/coffee shops just across the road. Nice bar at the end of sugar reef part of end of beach. Lovely lovely stunning beautiful beach . Gods earth found. Fendy xxx
