Carlisle Bay
|
Carlisle Bay is located on the south coast of the island, in the parish of St. Michael. A pretty crescent shaped bay, many yachts are anchored here.
Things to Do
You can go scuba diving or snorkeling in Carlisle Bay as man made shipwrecks have been sunk to encourage marine life, making this an excellent diving spot.
The beach here is very lively with both locals and visitors. This beach continues on from Brownes and Pebbles beaches. With such a long stretch of sand it is a popular work out spot for many Bajans in the early morning hours.
If you are looking to have some beach time while on holiday, be sure to stop by Harbour Lights Beach Bar and Grill located right in Carlisle Bay. As a cruise passenger it is the picture perfect way to spend your day in paradise.
Harbour Lights boasts of a relaxed atmosphere with a fully stocked bar perfectly positioned on the beach deck where you can quench your thirst with an exotic cocktail or simple mix of rum and coke.
Enjoy a variety of great music while you savour the flavours of the local cuisine served up from the Beach Bar-B-Que Grill. Beach Chairs and umbrellas are available for rent for a nominal fee and for your convenience there are freshwater showers, bathrooms, a Pool table, and Wi-fi internet connection.
