Carlisle Bay is located on the south coast of the island, in the parish of St. Michael. A pretty crescent shaped bay, many yachts are anchored here.
Things to Do
There is an underwater park, which has been man made with shipwrecks to encourage marine life, making this an excellent diving spot.
The beach here is very lively with both locals and visitors. This beach continues on from Brownes and Pebbles beaches. With such a long stretch of sand it is a popular work out spot for many Bajans. In the early morning you can find quite a few people exercising here.
In terms of amenities, The Boatyard provides most of the beach activity. You pay an entrance fee and then enjoy the use of beach chairs, umbrella's, kayaks, pedal boats, ocean trampolines, giant iceberg climb and slide, beach volleyball, showers, bar and restaurant.
