St. Lawrence beach is on the south coast of the island and is generally quite calm. One of the most active strips of the south coast would definitely have to be the St. Lawrence area. St. Lawrence Gap itself is full of bars, Barbados best restaurants, all types of accommodation and the extended area is much the same.
"The Gap" as it is commonly referred to, lies right on the coast and oh what a coast it is!
Things to Do
This particular area is kind of rocky with an abundance of shallow water reefs, which, in turn create some small coves, barred off by limestone reefs and rocks.
The St. Lawrence area is a great place for snorkeling and for finding shells and other marine treasures washed up on the beach. The reefs that exist along this strip of coast are very much alive with aquatic plants and animals, and because of the reefs and sand banks that occupy this area it also tends to be a fun spot for bodysurfing or boogie boarding.

Driving Directions
From Bridgetown follow the south coast road towards Worthing, you will see a sign to the St.Lawrence Gap on a stone wall on your right.
