Shown below is the method, steps and ingredients for making Okra Soap as found in Barbados.
Ingredients
» Approx. 16 small okras
» 1/4lb. Salted beef
» 3pts. Water
» 1 Onion chopped
» Pepper to taste
Method
» Remove top and bottoms of okras.
» Chop finely the salted beef, put this along with okras in saucepan adding the water to boil and stirring now and then to prevent sticking.
» After 20 minutes add onion and simmer till all is cooked adding a little pepper to taste.
