Barbados Poetry


Barbados has cultivated a number of outstanding and talented writers, playwrights and poets. Some of our poets and writers such as Adisa (Aja) Andwele, Edward Kamau Brathwaite and George Lamming are internationally known. 

Books on Barbadian Poetry are available at leading bookstores and at The Barbados Museum & Historical Society.

barbados is beautiful!! I wish that i could be there personally but my father never takes me with him. But most of all BARBADOS LOOKS LIKE ITS OFF THE CHAIN.

I love Barbados the most out of the Carribean.also no other country or even city can have all but maybe 10 people being able to read. i wish we could see poetry though
