Barbados is blessed with a wonderful combination of weather attributes, bright sunshine and cooling breezes virtually all year round. The moderately high daytime temperatures are balanced by refreshing, cooler nights thanks to the trade winds coming in off the Atlantic.
The climate in Barbados is considered to be sub-tropical and temperatures for most of the year typically range between 80-86 degrees Fahrenheit (27-30 degrees Celsius).
The visitors who fly in during the winter for a respite from the colder climes meet even better weather. Temperatures in Barbados between December and February tend to drop about two degrees both in the day and at night, offering an even more pleasant overall experience.
The rainy season in Barbados is from June to November. The good news is that Barbados usually escapes the wrath of the severe tropical storms and hurricanes which come through the Eastern Caribbean. Rather, due to the island's unique easterly location, major weather systems tend to move above or below Barbados.
While it does tend to rain more during the summer periods, most consider the showers refreshing as they help to cool down the day!
Rain or shine, Barbados remains the gem of the Caribbean and welcomes visitors throughout the year!
