The 2006 Barbados Expo (UK)
|
The 2006 Barbados Expo is designed to allow visitors to meet, taste and experience Barbadian culture, food, products and services. This show is a must see for both nationals and non-nationals, especially since visitors will have the opportunity to sample and purchase Bajan foods and delicacies, such as the famous Mount Gay Barbados Rum Cakes. Visitors will also be able to hear Barbadian calypso music and see vibrant and colourful Barbadian fashion. Other features of the expo will include manufactured products and services such as health, education, banking and financial services, shipping, tourism and real estate.
Visitors should note that the first day of the expo is for invited guests only, namely business persons and potential buyers. The expo will, however, be open to the general public on Saturday 19th from 10:00am to 9:00pm and on Sunday 20th from 11:00am to 8:00pm. Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children under the age of 16.
