Air Jamaica has profited from a gap in the market left by Caribbean Airlines, when they decided to discontinue the New York to Barbados service.

Air Jamaica now offer this service as a non stop flight from New York JFK to Barbados continuing on to St Lucia 4 days a week and Grenada the other 3 days per week.

They have reported an excellent uptake for this service and have hinted at introducing further services to Barbados later on in the year.
