Barbados Workers Union are warning that unless the economy in Barbados picks up there will not be enough jobs created for graduates leaving university.

The union fears that society will be filled with over qualified workers unless the government addresses the economic issues. In recent years it has been government's aim to push education and encourage young people to better themselves through education, however this plan will now back fire if there are no jobs for these newly qualified individuals.
