Like most places in the world, Barbados has many Internet cafes for you to check your mail and browse the Internet in Barbados.
Many of the hotels on the island offer Internet access in your room and if they cannot offer that directly then they will have an Internet café located in the foyer. Most hotels offer this service free of charge or for a nominal fee.
Perhaps if you are self catering in an apartment then you may not have Internet facilities on site and will need to venture out to gain access.
The south and west coasts of the island have a heavy density of Internet cafes, usually you will just pay for the time you are online, you can expect to pay $4BDS for 1-5 mins, $7BDs for 6-15 mins, $13BDS for 16-30 mins, $22BDS for 31-60 mins, $30BDS for 61-90 mins and $38BDS for 90-120mins.
