CTO is the regional tourism association; it is an international development agency for promoting and developing the tourism product of the Caribbean region. It is made up of government and private sector operatives in the tourism industry.
The role of CTO is to collect and disseminates research and data on the development of the regional industry. Its members include destination countries and private companies - such as airlines, hotels, cruise operators and travel agencies - who are involved in providing holidays to the region.
Chapters of the CTO exist around the world and promote travel to the Caribbean.
They work to encourage tourism that is sensitive to the economic, social and cultural interests of the Caribbean people. They aim to preserves the natural environment of the Caribbean whilst providing the highest quality of service to visitors.
CTO has offices in Barbados, New York, London and Canada.
