The Early Childhood Education Association of Barbados presents their annual concert.

The Early Childhood Education Association of Barbados Inc. is a registered non-governmental organization.  

The registered office is located at the Eden Lodge Nursery School, Eden Lodge, St Michael.  

The Association was formed in September 1989 and officially launched at a ceremony held at Erdiston Teachers'' Training College on December 19, 1990.

Monthly meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month at Erdiston Teachers' Training College at 4:00 p.m.

Some of the objectives of the Association are:

> To provide early childhood educators, caregivers and parents with opportunities to exchange information and keep abreast with current trends and innovations in early childhood education.

> To sensitize educators, caregivers, as well as the wider community, to developmentally appropriate early childhood programmes and practices.

> To conduct workshops, seminars and conferences in Early Childhood Education, Care and Development.

> To assist in providing wherever possible resource materials/amenities for use in the administering of early childhood programmes.

> To establish a closer working relationship among persons involved in the care, education and development of young children.

The membership is opened to professionals and Para-professionals of government and private institutions from day care to tertiary level and generally any person who caters to the development of children from birth to eight years.

Persons joining the Association are required to pay a registration fee of twenty dollars as well as a yearly subscription fee of thirty dollars or a termly fee of ten dollars.
