A Musical Lecture by Samuel Brock.
Mr. Brock, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the U.S. Embassy at Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo is visiting Barbados and will give a lecture on Negro spirituals, their origins, and religious and musical backgrounds and will illustrate this lecture with excerpts from his CD of spiritual music. He is also a talented pianist.
This invitation is for all musicians & music lovers, including music teachers and students, and the general public.
