Anti-Money Laundering Awareness Workshops
|
The Barbados International Business Association’s (BIBA) 3 hour workshop sessions will provide the international sector with tools for successful anti- money laundering management.
The Barbados International Business Association (BIBA) will be hosting its annual Anti- Money Laundering Seminar Series at the Cave Hill Campus, University of the West Indies. The Barbados international business sector is encouraged to take advantage of these timely workshops.
The program structure will be as follows:
Introductory/Core Workshop 1 - Understanding Money Laundering
Location: Shell Suite B, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, St. Michael
Date: October 8th, 2008
Cost to attend this workshop is $250 BD for members and $300 BDS for non-members
Introductory/Core Workshop 2 - Understanding Money Laundering
Location: FirstCaribbean Suite "A", University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, St. Michael
Date: October 15th, 2008
Cost to attend this workshop is $250BD for members and $300 BDS for non-members
General Management Workshop 1 – Industry -Specific Workshop
Location: Shell Suite B, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, St. Michael
Date: October 29th, 2008
Cost to attend this workshop is $350 BD for members and $400 BDS for non-members
Investment and Financial Services Providers Workshop 1
Location: Shell Suite B, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, St. Michael
Date: October 22nd, 2008

Cost to attend this workshop is $350 BD for members and $400 BDS for non-members
All workshops will be facilitated by Guyson Mayers, former Director (ag) of the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Anti-Money Laundering Authority. A 20% discount will apply to companies registering four (4) or more staff members. Registration on the day of the workshops begins at 8:30am.
