Poster Competition
DEADLINE FOR ALL ENTRIES IS FRIDAY, November 28th, 2008 by 4:00 p.m.
Theme: Coping with the impact of the Cost of Living
Poster Competition Rules:
• Each design MUST reflect the topic “Ways to Reduce the Cost Of Living”
• One poster per student
• Classes Two to Four Primary School students
• Designs are to be original drawings
• All submissions must be displayed on 20 x 14 inch Bristol boards
• Posters will be judged on originality, content, creativity, colorfulness and interactive fashion
• 1st prize: $500 in educational supplies
• 2nd prize: $300 in educational supplies
• 3rd prize : $200 in educational supplies
Entries should be submitted by the school and addressed: Attn. Essay and Poster Competitions, Mr. Ronny Yearwood, Marketing Officer, Barbados Government Information Service, Bay Street, St. Michael.
Entries must be accompanied by a completed application form.
All entries will remain the property of the Barbados Government Information Service.
Names and photographs of winners may be used in the print and electronic media. Winners will be required to show proof of age.
These competitions were given the approval of the Ministry of Education.
