• Run Barbados Event Schedule - Day 1 - Friday December 5th, 2008
* 10:00am to 10:00pm - Race Registration
Run Barbados Expo & Health Fair
Venue: Divi Southwinds Hotel & Beach Club.
Experience this cornucopia of local wellness products and services amidst the beautiful grounds of the host hotel, Divi Southwinds Hotel and Beach Club.
* 6:30pm - Divi Southwinds Pasta Party
Pre-race energy booster - meet, greet and eat. For local, regional and international stakeholders.

* Midnight to 1:00am - The Gap Powerade Midnight Fun Mile
Warm up to the Nature Valley 10K & the Schools/ Team-in-Motion Relays.
Route: Start/ Finish at Ship Inn Restaurant, St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church; left at Dover Playing Field and Braddie's Bar; onto Highway 7; left entrance to St. Lawrence Gap; and finish at Ship Inn Restaurant, St. Lawrence Gap
Proceeds will go to the Barbados Cancer Society.

* 10:00am - Run Barbados Expo & Health Fair - Bay Street Esplanade
* 4:30pm - Nature Valley 10k/ Primary Schools' Relay & Teams In Motion
The 10K runs around and through the capital, Bridgetown. This event is held on the bustling Saturday afternoon and generally attracts the biggest field of the Festival.
* 6:00pm - Fabulous Finish Line Beach Party & Prize Giving Ceremony
Bay Street Esplanade - No where else in the world can you finish your race and run right into the therapeutic Caribbean sea? Combine this with the hottest live calypso and steel pan entertainment, local delicacies and endless water sports for a great evening of fun for the family.

* 10:00am - Run Barbados Expo & Health Fair - Bay Street Esplanade
* 5:00am - Run Barbados Marathon / Half Marathon / Clubs & Corporate Relays
Start/ Finish Line- Bay Street Esplanade
Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Run Barbados Marathon remains one of the oldest and most prestigious in the region.
The Caribbean Schools Relay event takes place during the Scotia Bank In Fo' Life Half Marathon and is open to all Caribbean Schools in relay teams of four (4) girls OR four (4) boys but not mixed.
* 10:00am - Presentation Ceremony
After two heavily contested races showcasing the best of local, regional and international talent, bask in the festival fever with traditional Bajan food, entertainment, craft and water sports.
The Run Barbados events have been certified by the Association for International Marathons and Road Races (AIMS).
Run Barbados is organized by the Barbados Tourism Authority. For Travel and any other race information from your region, kindly contact the Barbados Tourism Authority office nearest you.
