The Barbados Astronomical Society is pleased to invite one and all to our next course
"An Introduction to Astronomy"
This ten week event will take place every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm at our headquarters The Harry Bayley Observatory in Clapham, and will cover The Solar System, Stellar Evolution, Cosmology and Space Exploration among other exciting topics.
Registration will take place on Friday October 2nd, 2009 from 8.30pm at the Observatory and our first lecture is scheduled for Wednesday October 7th, 2009 at 7.30pm.
Cost is $300.
Our text book is "Caribbean Skies" by Dr. Maura P. Imbert, president of the Trinidad and Tobago Astronomical Society, price $25.00.
