The Barbados Music Awards 2008 was held at the Sir Garfield Sobers Gymnasium in Barbados on Sunday January 27th 2008. Some high profile entertainers, some of whom also performed, attended the event.

Kite were nominated for the award as Best Rock/Alternative Artist Band of the Year and for Best Non Soca Collaboration with Billy Kincaid.
