Holders Season is an annual festival which is held on the west coast of the island, in the parish of St. James. From the Spring Garden Highway, at the Frank Worrell roundabout turn right onto Walmer Lodge, you will see an Esso gas station on your right, turn right here and go up Holders Hill, on your left you will see the entrance to Holders.
Holders Season runs for 2 weeks from the end of February until early March. The grounds of Holders House are transformed to create a delightful outdoor theatre with performers coming from Canada, USA, England, Ireland, Italy and other parts of Europe.
The two week programme is jam packed with culture bringing the best actors from London's West End and New York's Broadway. It showcases a cosmopolitan range of the classics, with modern adaptations.
Certain evenings are dedicated to music from classical to blues, whilst other evenings attract the top performers from London's comedy circuit.
The setting is wonderful with the polo field to your left, the lightening is very pretty and you can't help but have a pleasant evening before the performance even begins.
There is a champagne tent for you to sip some bubbly, enjoy the warm evening breeze and soak up the ambience of your surroundings.
