Every night is party night in Barbados; therefore we have highlighted the hot clubs and bars of where it is happening on any given night of the week most of which include live music.
MONDAY
Reggae Lounge in St. Lawrence Gap offers a drinks free party for only $20 BDS per person and has a live reggae band playing - beware of the stairs after consuming rum.
Acoustic Groove Mondays is held almost weekly at Mojo's bar on the south coast.
TUESDAY
The Boatyard, Bay Street, Bridgetown has the best party around, with drinks free from 8pm until 2am and a live band playing the latest in R&B. It's an outside venue so you can enjoy partying literally on the beach. It is $35 BDS entry.
WEDNESDAY
There are two choices tonight either you can go to Harbour Lights, Bay Street, Bridgetown, which offers a beach BBQ and tropical floorshow followed by a drinks free party where you can dance the night away under the stars.
Or you can go to Club Xtreme, Worthing, Christ Church who also have a drinks free party. It is an air conditioned night club with many rooms playing different types of music to please all music tastes.
THURSDAY
Again tonight you have a choice but St. Lawrence Gap is where it's at. Either you can go to McBride's, ladies free before 11pm, after 11pm and all males is $15 BDS entry with two house drinks free.
While on the west coast on Thursday's, visit 2nd Street in Holetown to party the night away at one of the many bars in the area. Visit the Mews, Spago, Elbow Room or Lexy's Wine bar for a different mood within steps of each other. Food is also served at these locations, so one could spend the entire night "down 2nd Street."
There is live music playing covering reggae and R&B or you can hop over to The Ship Inn, where they also have a live band. The admission is normally $20 BDS. There is one outside venue where the band plays and one indoor bar playing the latest in the charts for you to boogie on down.
FRIDAY
Well a must in Barbados is to head to your local fish market where there will be the traditional fish fry going on. Many local women have roadside stalls selling delicious fresh cooked fish with salad, rice and peas, and of course the Barbados vegetable of macaroni pie!
The busiest fish fry is Oistins on the south coast, with two sections, one playing old time dance hall and the other playing disco, back in time and current R&B. The whole place is surrounded by rum shops so pick a bench, order your food, get a bottle of rum and party the night away with visitors and locals alike.
If you are really hard-core then you may even fancy venturing on to a nightclub afterwards, if you do then it is drinks free again at Club Xtreme and Harbour Lights.
Another option on Fridays is to head to the west coast in Holetown for dinner at one of the various bars and restaurants including The Mews, Spago, Elbow Room or Lexy's Wine bar.
SATURDAY
It's back to St. Lawrence Gap for all the action tonight with the hot spots being McBride's who hold a back in time night, playing all the great sounds of the 70's disco fever or you can try The Ship Inn which is always busy and plenty of people in the party mood.
SUNDAY
Traditionally a quieter night on the party scene, but you can head up to Surfer's Bay where they serve an Italian Buffet and have a live guitarist, there are plenty of visitors and locals looking to end off the weekend in this popular hang out.
For those who do fancy a late one then you can head on down to McBride's again who have a 'skin out' competition, a Caribbean tradition of wuking up on stage and bearing quite a lot.
