Barbados Game Fishing Association (BGFA)
|
Barbados waters are ideal for catching Barracuda, Tuna, Wahoo Dolphin and Marlin. Therefore the Barbados Game Fishing Association (BGFA) has an active calendar of events scheduled for 2007 along with an impressive track record of catches. Their largest catch from documented tournaments is a 505lbs Blue Marlin!
In February there will be two Deep Sea Tournaments held at The Careenage in Bridgetown from 5am until 4pm on the 10th and 25th, 2007. And another held on March 11, 2007 at the same venue, same times.
On March 29th and 30th, 2007 there will be the BGFA International held at The Boatyard, from 6am until 4pm with the Game Tour continuing at the same venue on April 1st, 2007 from 6am until 3pm.
Later on in the year they have the BGFA Google Eye tournament held from July to August 2007 at The Yacht Club and in September and November they will hold the Barracuda again at The Yacht Club.
