Consisting of 92 units, the Hotel is set in lush, attractive gardens. Its' architecture is a blend of traditional and Barbadian design with buildings and gardens that stretch over 1000ft of beach frontage.
There is a relaxed atmosphere of luxurious comfort, with personal service and attention to detail ensuring the perfect holiday.
We have 4 different categories of accommodation; garden view rooms, ocean view rooms, one bedroom suites and one bedroom luxury suites.
Every room or suite is air-conditioned and well appointed with Caribbean style décor, private bathroom, balcony or patio and all units have telephone with data port and voice mail, radio, television with satellite, kettle, fridge, hairdryer and room safe.
The suites all have a kitchenette unit set up for 4 persons. Most rooms & suites have wireless access with hot spots in some public areas. Safety deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk free of charge.
During your stay with us, we hope you will have time to enjoy our facilities, such as the 2 freshwater swimming pools, shuffleboard, mini-golf, tennis, windsurfing and boogie boarding to name a few.
We also offer complimentary afternoon tea on a daily basis by the small pool and the Manager's Rum Punch party once a week.
Our Garden Terrace Restaurant serves Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner with various specialty nights such as Buffet and BBQ's accompanied by Live Entertainment 3 nights a week and on Sunday Lunch Time. The Khus Khus Bar is open daily where an all day menu is available.
Other facilities include an on-site Beauty Salon, Beginning Beautiful and a Souvenir Shop, Best of Barbados.
We also have a Conference Room suitable for businesses, private parties - whatever your needs Southern Palms is happy to assist in making the event successful.
If you wish to get married during your holiday with a tropical back ground of sun, sea and sand, our Wedding Coordinator will be happy to make all the arrangements.
Southern Palms is located on the South Coast, in St. Lawrence Gap which has a wide selection of Restaurants, Night Life and Shops, all within easy walking distance from the Hotel.
With the trade winds gently cooling the property and the beautiful white sandy beach upon which we are located, allowing for relaxation by the pool or under a palm tree on the beach making Southern Palms the perfect location.
This beach is also an active nesting ground for the endangered Hawksbill Turtle. A nesting or hatching is a 'must see' between the months of June and August, but hatchings may be seen as late as December.
