The Barbados tourism industry, as the main catalyst for economic development in Barbados, is the primary vehicle for ensuring that Barbados is transformed into a high quality export service economy.

The sector will continue to offer an attractive and practical mix of the tourism product which will ensure that Barbadians at all levels are in a position to benefit from the tourism industry while enhancing our economic, social, cultural and physical environments.
