Mullins Beach is a lively and friendly beach where you can rent sun beds, take turtle cruises, snorkel and even body surf on the right day.
But most importantly, Mullins Restaurant is the perfect location on the beach where you can relax with lunch, enjoy a cool refreshing beverage, unwind with a sun-downer cocktail in the evening or enjoy a delectable dinner overlooking the moonlit sea.
Mullins Restaurant is a beautiful restaurant and is open for lunch every day and dinner every evening except Sunday. Mullins Restaurant pride ourselves on a restaurant where you can sample a fusion of international and Caribbean cooking inside a pretty wooden built restaurant, with efficient service from our friendly team.
Mullins Restaurant is one of the few restaurants in Barbados that ensures that the menu is changed each September, so you know that the next time you come there will be another treat for you to enjoy. And once you've selected which delicacy to enjoy, our head wine waiter, Kirkson, with many years of experience, will help you choose the perfect wine to compliment your meal.
It is recommended that you follow the tradition of many of our patrons; select your favourite aperitif from one of our three cocktail menus, relax with it overlooking the spectacular backdrop of pinks, oranges and yellows as the sun melts into the west coast horizon of Barbados, and then retire to your table and let our servers provide you with a sumptuous dinner.
Our menu includes dishes which are a fusion of international recipes with a Caribbean twist. Head Chef Oma is inspired by dishes from all over the world from Japan to Europe, Morocco to Indonesia. He serves many dishes using fresh, locally caught fish that taste of the exotic, Caribbean sea-world as well as premium succulent meats.
In every dish he strives to use fresh, locally sourced produce. Chef Oma was trained for four years by our ex-Head Chef, who trained in the US and used to work at the acclaimed 'Cliff Restaurant'. Chef Oma continues the excellent tradition of serving fine-quality foods with superb presentation.
Despite the decadent and romantic setting the restaurant is friendly and relaxed. Our 47 strong team have been trained to be efficient and look after our patrons, yet also ensure that they do so with a smile.
At Mullins Restaurant families are welcome and there is a kids menu available in the evening. We have created our restaurant around the customer's experience and we serve around 200 people a day.
Mullins' aims to ensure that our prices are a little lower than other west coast restaurants, despite our high quality food and stunning beach location. As a result we have many repeat customers including one gentleman who eats at Mullins Restaurant 20 - 25 times a year!
Mullins Restaurant for Special Occasions
Mullins offers the option of booking a special table right on the beach, under the stars. This table can seat up to four people and we set it up surrounded by tiki torches for a dramatic dining experience.
On Christmas Day and Easter Sunday we serve a special buffet, and on Old Years Night / New Years Eve and Valentines Day we provide special festive set menus and decorate the restaurant to match.

Wines
Mullins offers a wide range of wines from all over the world including many French wines. Head Wine Waiter, Kirkson, has a wealth of knowledge and the gift of the gab.
He used to work on the cruise ships and his personality lights up the bar as much as the illuminated rows of liquors, spirits and rums and the ornate metal candelabras.
Mullins Restaurant for Cocktails
We have three great cocktail menus and are famous for our sundowners. Be sure to come early on Fridays as we typically end up with standing room only on the deck. A lot of people come to us solely for our cocktails of which there are 45 to choose from including:

We change two of our cocktails every week so there is always something new to light your fire.

My husband and I made our second trip to Mullins Restaurant in Barbados and their service, food, and professionalism were excellent. On both visits we were fortunate to have a server named Kirkson. On observation of the other servers in the restaurant, I understood why this restaurant is so popular...nothing but respect for the patrons, and always - service with a smile. We will definitely return to Mullins on every visit to Barbados and will recommend them as well!
