A Churrascaria or 'Brasilian Steak-House', specializes in open-fire cooking, a technique that dates back three centuries and features a continuous parade of delicious meats that are brought to your table for a delectable feast.
The Churrasco tradition, from South Brasil, was started by the "gauchos" (cowboys), of old Brasil. After a day on the plains, the gauchos would cook their food by slowly roasting their meat around a large open fire. While they talked about the day's adventures, the meat (beef, pork, chicken, sausages or whatever they had) would slowly cook in its own juices absorbing the smoky flavors of the wood.
Meat, prepared and served like the "old days", keeps the characteristic grilled taste in each juicy bite and is now available at Paulo's Churrasco do Brasil in Barbados.
We offer 14 different cuts of BBQ meat every evening. Served with a lavish Salad Bar including numerous hot Brasilian dishes. This is an "all you can eat" meal which also includes home made desserts. All for $ 49.99 U.S.
Our suggestion is to start with the lavish soup and salad bar which includes typical mouthwatering Brasilian and Barbadian dishes. The servings continue by signaling the Passadora (waiters) you are ready to begin the "rodizio" (continually rotating table service) by turning the card on your table to the green side.
A variety of side dishes and meats carved table side will be served as the Passadoras continuously make their rounds, until all of the house specialties are served or until the customer is satisfied. Then when you have had enough, simply turn the card to the red side.
Don't forget there are many types of meat offered and you may request as many servings as you like. Have more of everything, or just your favorites, the choice is yours.

Had a meal here in feb 11 (first time) Could not fault a thing.Food.prices,staff and the view overlooking the ocean was great.Back in Barbados in two weeks time feb 2012 for a month and will be eating here again.Value for money

went to Bagatelle House restaurant mid week not knowing what to expect, probably the best meal ever, the passadors were fantastic, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the salad bar was exceptional, the meat was cooked to perfection.
Recommend to anyone for an amazing dining experience.
Only wish there was 1 more local to home to visit

We dined on Sat. 26 September '09. It was a very different experience for us. Service was exceptional. The salad bar was great. The passadors were a new experience for us, we enjoyed the different types of meat, the various preparations etc. All round great restaurant and highly recommended.

We ate here two weeks ago, and it was the dining highlight of our 3 weeks Barbados vacation. Great service, fantastic surroundings and the food was all done to perfection!! The Gauchos (Brazilian Cowboys) were the highlight of the evening and if you go, say hi to Bruno for me!!

Dined on Sunday November 30. Service was impeccable. Salad was extensive. I dont eat meat only seafood. The Mahi Mahi was delicious along with the sides and dessert.
