To relive and experience this enthralling story of the world's oldest rum, one must visit the Home of Mount Gay Rum, at Brandons, on the outskirts of Barbados' capital city, Bridgetown for the Mount Gay Rum Tour - deservedly one of the island's leading visitor attractions.

There you'll meet the Mount Gay Rum Tour Guides, friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic fans of this legendary spirit who just love telling its colourful story. From their vivid and compelling presentation you will discover the rich history of this renowned rum as you view antiquities and replicas from the past, learn of current triumphs and adventures, and be introduced to the Mount Gay portfolio of brands:

Next you will be escorted to a Barbadian "rum shop style" theatre to view an informative and entertaining audio-visual show on the making of Mount Gay Rum. Learn about the time-honoured processes of refining, ageing and blending that makes Mount Gay Rum so uniquely special.

Then, climax your tour with a fun-filled tasting session conducted by a "rum expert" and barman extraordinaire who will guide you and your taste buds through the various flavours of Mount Gay Rums.

THE LUNCH TOUR

Start with the signature rum tour and tasting session, then feast well and sumptuously at our famed Bajan Buffet, with an inclusive glass of Mount Gay Rum Punch "to whet the appetite" as they say.

When: Tuesdays and Thursdays: Starting at 12 noon.
Please note - Limited seating and always popular - Reservations most definitely required.

THE COCKTAIL TOUR

First discover all about Mount Gay Rum in the signature tour, then join the resident Mount Gay "mixologist" in a fun, lively atmosphere to learn delicious secrets on the mixing of delightful exotic cocktails. Our Master Barman will tantalise your taste buds as he guides you in the creation of mixes made to perfection with the world's finest spirits; which then leads to more friendly rivalry and camaraderie as we judge your delicious concoctions and award prizes.

When: Only on Wednesdays, 2:30 p.m.
Reservations most definitely required.
