The Arbib Nature Trail became a realty when Martyn Arbib (Sir Martyn) who is a financier and a Speightstown Property Owner asked the Trust to create a project to which he would give seed money.

They were two stipulations it had to be environmentally friendly and educational.

The trail is centred through the Whim Gully and also winds its way through Speighstown and Heywoods Beach.

An old Fort is also included in the trail.
