Barbados Sugar Machinery Museum
The Barbados National Trust operated Sugar Machinery Museum is located in the old Blowers Factory Boiling House. This in turn is situated within the compound of the Portvale Sugar Factory. The name Portvale is a combination of Vaucluse in St. Thomas and Porters in St. James, both of which operated as sugar factories. After their closure, canes destined for these two factories were taken to Portvale which was purpose built in 1984.

Tyrol Cot Heritage Village is situated at Codrington Hill, St. Michael, Barbados. Tyrol Cot was the house of Sir Grantley Adams, leader of the struggle for democracy in Barbados and of Lady Adams until her death in 1990.

Welchman Hall Tropical Reserve and Gully
Welchman Hall Tropical Forest Reserve, more commonly referred to as the Welchman Hall Gully is located in St. Thomas, one of the hilliest parishes in Barbados. In fact, it is in the same region as Mount Hillaby, the highest point in Barbados at approximately 1,100 feet above sea level. The gully is approximately 800 feet above sea level and commands a spectacular view of the neighboring St. Andrew's parish and the Scotland District.
