Immigration Requirements
All people who wish to enter Barbados are required to hold a:
»Valid Passport
»Valid Return Ticket
Upon arrival in Barbados, all visitors should be able to provide evidence to demonstrate they have adequate means to support themselves for the duration of their stay on request from Immigration Officials.
Extension of Stay
Should you wish to extend your holiday in Barbados, approval must be granted by the Chief of Immigration in Barbados.
Visas
There are some citizens who are required to present a visa to gain entry to the island. Applications for visas may be obtained from any of the Barbados Missions overseas (Barbados Tourism Authority Offices). These forms must completed in duplicate and include two (2) passport size photographs. Following please find the respective fees:
- Single Entry Visa: US $25/person
- Multiple Entry Visa: US $30/Visas may be obtained from any of Barbados' Missions overseas.

Cruise Ship Passengers
Cruise Ship Passengers do not generally require visas unless they are citizens of the following countries:
- C.I.S
- Eastern European Countries
- People's Republic of China
- Taiwan
- South Africa
- Korea
Those Cruise Ship Passengers who are "in-transit" but stay less than twenty-four
hours are not required to carry a valid passport. A valid passport is necessary
if you are:
- "In-transit" and are flying from Grantley Adams International Airport.
- Beginning and ending your trip in Barbados
