You need to set off early on a Saturday morning to get the best buys at Brighton Farmer's Market. This open air market in held at the Brighton Plantation and stalls are set up by 6.30am. Local farmer's come along and sell all types of fresh fruit and vegetables at very reasonable prices - some as low as a quarter of the prices in the supermarkets!
You can enjoy breakfast as fresh coffee and croissants are available. There are also craft stalls and some local artists exhibiting. You will also find some gourmet stalls selling British sausages and fine cheeses.

Brighton Farmer's Market is held at the Brighton Plantation, located in the parish of St. George, in the middle of the island.
Take the highway from Bridgetown towards the Grantley Adams International Airport, you need to turn left just after the Henry Forde roundabout. Keep straight on this road, passing over two major crossroads. You will then see Brighton Plantation ahead of you.
