One of the oldest rum distilleries yet the most modern!
The Four Square Rum Factory is set in 8 acres of landscaped park in St. Phillip, the heart of sugar cane country in Barbados.
Heritage Park is beautifully landscaped and is worth the visit just to stroll around the grounds, where there is a children’s play area and soon to open petting zoo.
There is a guided tour of the rum factory, with pictures detailing the rum process from the past right up until the present day.
There is also a large art and craft centre, a gift shop, a restaurant selling light snacks and refreshments, and an amphitheatre which hosts events at various times of the year.
Heritage park is only abut 1o minutes drive from Oistins, but you will need a car to get there as it is not on a bus route.
