The Barbados National Trust's Open House Programme for 2007 begins on Wednesday, January 17th, at Spinnaker Run.
The 2007 season of open houses in Barbados features many homes that have never before been opened to the public, from historic buildings such as plantation houses and Pavilion Court to contemporary Sandy Lane villas. Also included in this year's schedule is last year's favourite, Lascelles House, formerly inhabited by the great grandfather of Queen Victoria.
The Open House programme raises funds to support heritage preservation efforts. The price of admission has risen this year. It is now $10 BBD for Barbados National Trust members, $18 BBD for non-members, and $15 BBD for BARP members.
The houses will be open from 2:30 pm to 5:30 p.m. In order for the National Trust to maintain good relations with homeowners and their neighbours, the public is asked not to arrive early.
The schedule of the Barbados National Trust's Open House Tours will visit the following historic houses and plantations of Barbados for 2007.

* Frizer's
