Broadway to Barbados Charitable Trust has worked closely over the last year with the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to provide financial support for the development of the recently opened MICU. We continue to liaise with the doctors to improve the standard of healthcare available to Barbadians and visitors to the island.

Mission

The Mission of the Broadway to Barbados Charitable Trust is to promote the quality of healthcare provided by funding diagnostic and monitoring equipment needs of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH). As well as other approved facilities within the hospital and public health care facilities as may be related to the QEH.

Maintenance

To support the on-going-up-keep and maintenance of equipment provided.

Training Disbursement Cost

To support approved training disbursement costs and related initiatives

Expand Initiatives

To expand efforts to the Accident and Emergency Department and other needs as considered high priority and critical to the enhancement of diagnostic and monitoring of critical care.

Manage Contributions

To manage and oversee all our contributions to the QEH in association with their management team.
