Enterprise beach, otherwise known as Miami beach, is located on the south coast of Barbados, in the parish of Christ Church.

This is one of the most ideal beaches for a family day out; it really does have it all, and is what Bajan’s refer to as one of Barbados’ best-kept secrets!

The water here is the most beautiful shade of turquoise and it is an ideal place for swimming. The white sand goes on forever and there are plenty of trees for shade.

Things to Do

You can rent sun loungers for around BB$10 for the day, and umbrellas for, approximately, a further BB$10.

Only non motorized watersports are allowed on this beach, which means there are no noisy engines, and the beach stays tranquil.

There is a Hobie Cat sail boat which you can rent on this beach.

There is also an all-day snack van selling fish cakes, fish cutters, hot dogs, crisps, snacks, soft drinks and beer, with table seating in the shade.

Driving Directions to Miami Beach

After driving through Oistins heading away from Bridgetown, the road comes to a fork. Take the right turn and then turn right again at the yellow house with the signpost with various signs such as the sign to Surfers Bay.

At the end of the road you will reach a T-junction with the ocean in front of you; turn right here and follow the road down until you see the beach on your left. Parking is on the side of the road next to the beach.

This parking is Miami beach. To reach Enterprise beach from here, you simply walk to the end of Miami beach where Enterprise beach begins on the other side of the small ridge.
