Take a Stroll Through Nature @ Barbados Wildlife Reserve Attraction Venue

February 23, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until February 29, 2020

Take a stroll through nature at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, Grenade Hall Signal Station, and Forest, for the most affordable tourist attraction in Barbados.

— Admission at ONLY: $30 for adults and $15 for children.

— Opening hours are: 10.00 am – 5.00 pm.

Feel relaxed as you walk along the shaded brick paths, which meander through a forest of Mahogany Trees. Their Tortoise is likely to be the first animal to greet you. They can be found all around the Wildlife Reserve.

As you wind your way along the footpath, look for the Brocket Deer and Mara who will be timidly hiding, almost successfully, among the undergrowth.

Their path will lead you to the caiman pit, where the atmosphere changes and adopts the cold cunning disposition of these reptiles. The sly Caimans spend most of their day partially submerged; hoping opportunity will present itself. However, no need to worry; you are well out of their reach.

Feeding time at the Wildlife Reserve is at 2.30 pm daily.

As you continue along your adventure, search high and low among the trees for our Barbados Green Monkeys, who seem to have eluded you. Their troop of monkeys are free to come and go as they please, so keep your eyes and ears alert, for there is no telling when they will venture into the Wildlife Reserve.
