Job Description for Web Account Manager:
This is a full time job. Although you may work from your home-office, 8 hour days are always expected! This role offers a long-term sales advertising and marketing career opportunity for the further development and growth within the Totally Barbados Group of Companies.
The role requires a self-motivated individual who is connected in Barbados and has had previous sales experience.
Having a car is a huge asset to being a successful Web Account Manager.
They are confident and will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, and will be able to research (primarily) tourism related companies in Barbados, pick up the phone and make cold calls in order to source decision makers in scheduling a face to face meeting.
The web account manager will need to learn all about https://www.TotallyBarbados.com/ and connect to potential clients and these decision makers over the phone, in person and via email, in order to get a face to face meeting in order to present the many features and benefits of Totally Barbados while educating the client about Smart Online Advertising and Marketing.
Although the role would be based working from the individuals home, a full 8 hour day is required at least 5 times a week and is expected by each Web Account Manager (WAM). If you are looking for an “easy way to make money from home, within the first 12 months, this job is not for you. Dedication and commitment to the job is a must.
If you are looking for a long term opportunity (year or more) of working in sales and marketing in Barbados while building a Portfolio of Clients for yourself and you have had previous sales experience similar to what we are asking for – then you should apply.
Work may need to be done on evenings and weekends depending on meeting deadlines and whenever a potential client/client makes any specific requests.
Therefore you need to be disciplined and focused, and manage to work as a team with the other account managers and follow standard booking procedures set by management of Totally Barbados.
You will need to able to use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiently.
Totally Barbados has already built a good reputation with advertisers and it is imperative to maintain the same level of customer service as we expand into our next phase.
You will need to build a good rapport with your clients for long-term relationships, and you must not be afraid to pick up the phone and introduce prospective advertisers to the site.
— Previous advertising sales experience is required.
— Full product training and product knowledge will be provided.
The successful candidate must have an understanding of media; it’s role to advertisers and a professional approach to the task in hand.

Your duties and responsibilities for this position will include:
— Research (primarily) tourism related companies in Barbados, pick up the phone and make cold calls in order to source decision makers in scheduling a face to face meeting.
— Make contact with potential clients and arrange appointments at each place of business to outline and demonstrate the sales program of Totally Barbados.
— Sell advertising space on the Totally Barbados Group of Companies in order to generate new clients and expand the business at Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc.
— Generating new clients to expand client’s business.
— Devote a minimum of 8 hours a day, 5 times a week (at minimum) to its duties in accordance with this agreement and be willing to work on weekends, bank holidays or evenings to properly service current accounts, potential clients and Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc. in a timely manner. There is no overtime and any brainstorming is a benefit to both parties.
— Gain a complete working knowledge on all products and services of www.TotallyBarbados.com and its group of companies / websites.
— Required to input into the CRM website on a daily basis all contact information of prospective clients, call logs, information collected and created for each prospective client (this includes pertinent information for each lead, opportunity or account) and utilize all functions of the CRM as required.
— Analyze all of the pages on the Totally Barbados Group of Companies (5,000 and growing) in order to pick relevant pages for each potential client / lead that is given to you in your sales portfolio as well as to pick out appropriate pages in terms of visibility in order to provide good exposure for the potential client /lead.
— Create contracts for each potential client or lead either manually or through the use of the CRM website.
— Create invoices for each chosen package by potential clients / leads.
— Upon making a sale, you should receive payment and signed contract and bring originals to offices of Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc.) in a timely manner (within 48 hours) or as requested.
— Follow up with each client / account to ensure successful completion of filling out all necessary information in order for advertising packages to be put in place on the website. This includes receiving in suitable format the photos and information necessary.
— Maintain contact with each account contact in portfolio and maintain and build long lasting relationships in order to generate a renewal each year thereafter.
— Renew the contracts for advertising on the Totally Barbados Group of Companies on an annual basis.
— Monitor and Review all emails from directors of Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc. on a daily basis multiple times per day and as required
— Monitor, reply to and review client emails, reports etc… on a daily basis and respond to any director or account requests in a timely manner or as requested by Brett Callaghan, Directors of Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc.
— Promote Totally Barbados’ services throughout Barbados and the Caribbean if necessary.
— Participate in the development and execution of the sales and marketing objectives of Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc.
— Developing and maintaining successful long term relationships with all prospective clients of Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc.
— Identify growth areas
— The employee may be called upon from time to time to assist in and be willing to participate in brainstorming sessions and attend seminars in order to grow Totally Barbados / Brecal Inc. in Barbados and into other islands and locations if requested.

Job Responsibilities: The Totally Barbados Group of Companies wishes to hire the services of “The Consultant” for the collection, vetting, research and posting of, as many events happening in and about Barbados, into the Totally Barbados Events Calendar.
The objective of this job is to highlight the variety of activities that can be undertaken and engaged in and to facilitate better planning and exposure of leisure and vacation time in and of Barbados.
This information should be posted to the Totally Barbados Events Calendar and be current, accurate and reflective of what is happening in Barbados.
In further developing money making opportunities using the events calendar, this position will be further developed to create an income by selling newsletter ads, social media promotion and management, and other event related opportunities.

Time Devoted by the CONSULTANT: The particular amount of time may vary from day to day or week to week. However, the CONSULTANT shall devote enough time per month to its duties in accordance with this agreement and to achieve its goals as stipulated by the Totally Barbados Group of Companies. These goals relate to the posting of as many events as possible, with accurate information to allow the Totally Barbados Group of Companies, our mobile events calendar apps as well as other websites owned and run by the Totally Barbados Group of Companies to become the main events portal and information resource in and about Barbados.

FEE / PAYMENT
BRECAL will pay “The Consultant” a flat rate for each month’s work that is to be collected, vetted, researched and posted as detailed above, with as many events happening in and about Barbados, into the Totally Barbados Events Calendar.
