Plan a Romantic Honeymoon in Barbados
A honeymoon in Barbados is a time to spend together to celebrate your marriage and to enjoy some quality time alone after the stress and strain of organizing a wedding.
Barbados is a beautiful Caribbean island and is an ideal destination for your honeymoon.
No matter which coast of Barbados that you choose to stay on the most important factor is to choose the right accommodation for you and your new spouse.
There are many accommodation choices in Barbados to choose from with the most popular and romantic being a Boutique hotel where there are fewer guests and therefore more staff on hand to make your stay more enjoyable. These hotels usually have a no children policy, which ensures the ultimate in peace and tranquility.
If you prefer to socialize a bit more with other holiday makers, then you could choose one of the bigger hotels with lots of activity on the complex and nearby surrounding areas.
Maybe you prefer to come and go as you please and would therefore like to have a self-catering apartment. This way you could eat out every night at one of the island’s fine dining restaurants, or cook your own romantic meals for two. When you dine out you will find that most restaurants provide ocean front dining, which is perfect for honeymooning couples.
If you prefer some entertainment during dinner then why not book a dinner show at Harbour Lights where you will be treated to a Caribbean floorshow and a wonderful casual dining experience.
Whichever type of accommodation you book, make sure you tell them that it is your honeymoon, as most places on the island will provide champagne, chocolates and fresh flowers for your arrival.
If you really want a romantic break then there is no better place than Barbados with miles of white sandy beaches to stroll along, stunning sunrises and postcard sunsets. Once the sun has set the sky then lights up with thousands of twinkling stars.
There are also plenty of romantic things that you can do together during the day. You could take a cruise on a catamaran, where lunch is provided and you can go swimming with the sea turtles.
Or you could pack a picnic and take a tour of Barbados, finding your own deserted beach or tropical garden to have your lunch.
For complete relaxation you could book a his and hers massage at one of the island’s many health spas.
Another way to really bond on your honeymoon is to learn to play a new sport together, perhaps you both fancy learning to dive or learning to play golf. Both of which are readily available in Barbados.
Wherever you decide to stay and whatever activities you decide to partake in while in Barbados, you are guaranteed to have the holiday of a lifetime with many precious memories to keep of your honeymoon in the paradise of Barbados.
