The beauty of renting Barbados apartments is the freedom of choice.
Barbados Apartments are located all over the Island, they offer the independence of self-catering but without the bonus of staff on hand as you would get in a villa or condo.
However, this doesn’t mean that you save on comfort and luxury as Barbados Apartments range from basic through to elegant and chic.
There is so much to see and do in Barbados, that you many just be looking for a home base.
Perhaps you are travelling with your family and would like the convenience of coming and going as you please.
Either way, renting an apartment in Barbados is the right answer.
You can have an apartment decorated to a high end specification on the famous west coast, or you may be coming for a water sports holiday and would therefore prefer the waves of the south coast and are happy to save on accommodation by renting a cheaper apartment.
Most apartments come with a private swimming pool for residents only, thus providing the privacy that you may not get at the local beach.
Some apartments are located right on the beach, so you can enjoy some spectacular views and sunsets.
They range in price and there are some really nice places at very affordable prices.
There are some basically furnished apartments that rent for as little as $35 USD per night; not all of these lower end of the market apartments have swimming pools but in this instance they usually have an agreement with a nearby hotel, allowing you to use the facilities.
For the higher end of the market,Barbados Apartments can rent for around $150 US per night in high season.
In Barbados apartments you can expect some of the following:
– a kitchen
– coffee maker
– separate bathrooms with bath or shower
– separate bedrooms
– air-conditioning units
– satellite television
– internet access
– ironing board
– dining table and chairs
– patio furniture
– bath and shower
– and some may have additional sleeping in the living rooms.
If you are travelling as a family then you will need to choose an apartment that is on the larger side to accommodate all members of your family. Most apartments also come with a balcony or patio.
If you are visiting Barbados on a budget, then you can eat out or cook for your self for around $10 USD per night.
This allows you to splash out at the end of your holiday at one of the world famous restaurants of Barbados.
Also after a long day at the beach, or something more active like water sports, you may not feel like dressing up for dinner as you would in a hotel, so with an apartment you can relax with a cold drink and a quick bite to eat.
There are some outstanding restaurants in Barbados, but that doesn’t have to mean expensive.
The majority of restaurants are reasonably priced with special menu’s for children. As a word of warning you may find the supermarket quite expensive as most of the groceries are imported.
Some seasoned visitors to Barbados who return year after year usually bring dried and canned provisions with them.
Alternatively just buy the essentials for the apartment and then have your main meals while you are out, as it is usually more time consuming and to some extent expensive, to buy the ingredients and cook it yourself.
Living in a Barbados Apartment gives you absolute flexibility, you will find something to suit every budget, and they offer the perfect place to relax in your own space.
The main advantage is not being tied to set meal times as you would in a hotel.
So if you are looking for a holiday where you can enjoy the freedom of coming and going as if you were at home, then you should look at renting a Barbados apartment.
