St Peter Accommodation

The parish of St. Peter stretches across Barbados from the east to the west coast and has various types of accommodation for you to choose in and around the main town of Speightstown.

St. Peter accommodation provides self catering apartments, guest houses, all inclusive hotels and luxury villas.

Depending on the type of holiday that you require, you may decide that a self-catering apartment would best suit your needs.

In the parish of St. Peter you can choose a self catering option from a basic apartment costing around $75US per night right through to a luxury apartment for $500US per night.

In the parish of St. Peter you will find Port. St Charles, a luxurious marina and development of town houses and apartments that are available to buy or rent.

This complex has a number of dining options, bars, tennis courts, swimming pools, yacht moorings and a man made beach.

The west coast of Barbados is where most of the celebrities who visit the island choose for their accommodation and therefore you will find some very high-end properties to stay in.

You may want the convenience of an all-inclusive hotel, where all of your food and drinks are included in the price; if so then there are a number of options in St. Peter. These hotels usually offer a children’s club, so this is another bonus if you are traveling with children.

If you are looking for a romantic retreat, then why not consider renting a luxury villa or condominium, where there will be staff on hand to cater to your every need.

Most of these properties come complete with a maid, chef, gardener, pool attendant and security. These properties start at around $500US per night out of season, which is from May until October, but go up to at least $1000 per night in high season, which is from November until March.

St. Peter is a good accommodation choice if you would like to go duty free shopping, as there are a number of duty free outlets in the next parish of St. James on the west coast in Holetown. Here you will find designer goods at a fraction of the cost of what you would expect to pay at home.

St. Peter is a quiet parish and is home to the town of Speightstown, where you will find some good fine dining restaurants and some good local amenities for grocery shopping.

If you choose to stay in the parish of St. Peter, you are very close to the eight mile stretch of golden sand that lines the west coast of Barbados providing plenty of calm bays for swimming and sun bathing.

The beauty of this parish is that it runs from the west coast right across to the east coast, so you are also in a prime position for sightseeing.

If you would like to play golf in Barbados then you will find two excellent 18 hole golf courses in the neighboring parish of St. James at Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane Golf & Country Club.

There is plenty to keep you amused if you choose your accommodation in the parish of St. Peter, it is good for sailing, swimming, sun bathing, shopping, golf, fine dining, and of course sightseeing on the east coast side of the parish.
