Barbados Boutique Shopping

Do you want to go shopping while you are in Barbados? Are you looking for something unique, then you should go to one of the many boutiques that sell clothing, accessories, jewellery and cosmetics.

West Coast of Barbados

On the west coast of Barbados, you will find shopping malls in Holetown. There is the Sunset Crest shopping mall, which has several boutiques for ladies and gents fashions. There are also unique boutiques selling silk clothing, designer sunglasses, handbags, facial and hair care products. Many of which are all designer brand names.

Barbados attracts the world’s rich and famous, and therefore you would expect to find high-end goods to cater to this type of clientele. However, what you may not expect is that all of these designer goods can be purchased at a fraction of their usual cost. As all visitors to Barbados benefit from duty-free prices. Just remember to have your passport, ticket for travel and know the address of where you are staying to get the discount.

On the west coast in Holetown, you will find the Chattel House Village. These quaint little shops are all housed in traditional Bajan Chattel Houses, which provide unique shopping space for boutiques. Here you will find clothing and accessory stores along with some souvenir shops.

There are some of the island’s most beautiful hotels located on the west coast, and within these hotels, you will also find some fantastic boutique shops. The goods stocked in these boutique shops are of the most exceptional quality and give you the rare opportunity to purchase brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hillfilfiger, Moschino, & La Perla. Some of the hotel boutiques to check out on the west coast are at Sandy Lane, The Royal Pavilion, Colony Club and Crystal Cove.

Right in the heart of Holetown, Limegrove Lifestyle Centre has emerged as Barbados’ most exciting shopping and lifestyle destination.

The must-see Barbados West Coast location offers the best in Art, Beauty, Fashion, Film and Food on the island.

You will also find boutique shopping at the Cruise Terminal if you are arriving into Barbados by cruise ship. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to enter the port area just for shopping purposes. For more information on the shops available there, please read the article below on Cruise Terminal Shopping.

South Coast of Barbados

On the south coast of Barbados, you will find boutiques selling designer clothing at the Shak Shak Complex on the South Coast Main Road.

On this same road, you will also find the Quayside Centre, which is home to Lazy Days, a surf and sportswear boutique. There are also a couple of really nice ladies boutiques here such as Kartushe, which sell some very high-end ladies fashions. You can also pick up some cute shoes, which are original and very reasonably priced.

Further along this main road, there is also Coconut Walk, where you will find another couple of boutiques such as Pineapple Designs, which specialize in ladies’ linen wear.

Also on the south coast is the Sheraton Centre, which is located just off the highway. This large shopping centre has many boutiques selling everything from fashion, accessories, shoes, cosmetics, perfumes and jewellery.

This mall is more used by locals and doesn’t cater to the high-end designer goods that you would find on the west coast. However, there are some great bargains to be had, and there are some great boutiques for original dresses for special occasions.

Finally, you can also find some boutique shopping at Grantley Adams International Airport. Please read the article on Airport Shopping for more information.
