Hastings Rocks and Hastings Beach

Home/Barbados Beaches/South Coast Beaches/Hastings Rocks and Hastings Beach

The Hastings area is one of the busier areas of Barbados outside of the major towns. Therefore, hotels, vacation homes, restaurants, boutiques and all types of shops are within walking distance and are mostly located on the beach.

Things to Do
The promenade has a band stand; children’s play area, toilets, showers, benches and picnic tables. The sea here is very rocky and not really suitable for swimming. There are no beach chairs to rent, nor any food or drink outlets on the beach however there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on the main road.

Because of all the low levels reefs along the beach, shells and coral often wash ashore and collecting these tropical treasures can provide hours of entertainment for both young and old.
