Wedding Videographers

If you are getting married in Barbados, then you may want to hire a videographer to record your paradise wedding, so that you can watch your special day over and over on DVD or VHS cassette.

As so many overseas couples choose the romantic island of Barbados for their wedding ceremony, there are many reputable videographers working on the island.

Some can be found through your chosen photographer, who may also offer a video service. If not then ask your hotel management to recommend someone that they have worked with on previous weddings.

These videographers appreciate the beauty of Barbados and why you have chosen to get married here; therefore it is normal for them to include footage of the entire island of Barbados, to show the venue of the wedding ceremony and to generally include some of the most picturesque parts of the island so that you have a memento to take home.

It is important that you tell the videographer what you would like recorded on your wedding day. Perhaps you would like an interview with both the bride and groom prior to the ceremony, then maybe you would like footage of the bride getting ready, having her hair and make up applied.

Tell the videographer if you would like footage of the bride walking down the aisle or along the beach. Explain how much of the service you would like recorded, you may want the entire wedding service recorded or you could just have your vows and exchanging or rings.

You also need to tell the videographer if you want them to attend the reception and record the speeches.

You can expect to pay around $900 BDS for a DVD or VHS cassette of your wedding day; this includes the videographer attending on the day, editing and producing the final copy for you.

For this fee you can expect the final version to last between 30 – 45 minutes in duration, allowing you to share your Barbados wedding with friends and family.
