Barbados Ocean Park is a unique Marine Aquarium set in beautiful gardens filled with lush tropical flowering plants and vegetation much of which are indicative of beach front or seaside gardens.
All of the 26 aquarium displays located throughout the park showcase the bright, colourful and exotic fish and sea life found around Barbados and the Caribbean, as well as weird and wonderful animals from tropical seas around the globe.

You enter the park via the reception and "Something Fishy" gift shop, which sells a wide range of marine themed items and local souvenirs.
Go directly out to the displays or enjoy the fantastic playground which contains a number of different activities including swings and the ever popular spinning rope climber - the playground is ideally suited for children up to 13 years of age.
An added bonus on the playground is the waterfall display where visitors can walk through a stone cavern and look out from behind the waterfall whilst admiring the Japanese Koi. Beyond the thundering waterfall you will encounter the spouting sea horses which make a great place for a quick picture.

Just alongside the playground is "Shark Bites" our restaurant and snack bar which serves a tasty selection of sandwiches, salads, pastas, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, specialty coffee, blended drinks and a range of snacks, soft drinks and ice cream
Ocean Park is a self guided experience and offers automated tour assistance at a nominal fee. To add to your experience, they are educational talks and feeds throughout the day along with well trained and informed staff who will happily answer any questions about the onsite displays.
Full colour souvenir guide books can be purchased at reception and there is colourful and informative signage located throughout the park.
