Shopping on the South Coast of Barbados
On the south coast of Barbados you will find a number of shopping centres to run your errands and to choose from.
Sheraton Centre in the parish of Christ Church is one of the larger malls with shops selling all sorts of goods from clothes and shoes through to electronics and children's toys. Also located at Sheraton Centre is the Barbados Olympus Theatres where you can find all of the latest movies showing on six (6) cinema screens. On the south coast main road, you will find Quayside Centre, opposite Accra Beach Hotel and Spa. Here you will find a buzz of restaurants, an ice-cream parlor, souvenir shops, dress shops, a health store and an open 'til late supermarket'.
There is also a smaller branch of Cave Shepherd on the south coast main road at the traffic lights at Worthing. Here you can buy clothes, beachwear, cosmetics, fragrances, jewelry and electronics all at duty free prices.
Located within St. Lawrence Gap you can find the Chattel House Village, a Best of Barbados Gift Shop and a few other small boutiques. Visit one of the local vendor shops at Dover and experience the cool and calming atmosphere while walking in-between the restaurants and Dover Beach.
Shopping on the West Coast of Barbados
The best place for shopping on the west coast of Barbados is in Holetown, where you will find the West Mall shopping centre and the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre. You will also find jewelry, clothing and electronic goods for sale at duty free prices .
Pure Source, specializes in designer goods and all natural beauty products and cosmetics. They sell brands such as Cutler and Gross sunglasses at duty free prices along with products such as Black Up, Phyto hair products, Erbaviva baby range and Ole Henriekson body range. Many of these products come from Paris and are very difficult to get hold of in London and New York, so why not indulge yourself while staying in Barbados.
There is also the quaint Chattel Village located in the heart of Holetown on the west coast of Barbados. You will find a nice mix of holiday apparel, a Best of Barbados Gift Shop as well as gourmet food and a café to relax in a garden, in between the shops.
Depending on your port of entry into Barbados, there is also shopping at the airport as well as shopping at the Bridgetown Cruise Terminal.
