Major Shopping Lifestyle Centre On Target For 2010

Barbadians will soon be enjoying the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre, located in Holetown Barbados – the West Indies first-mixed use lifestyle centre.

‘Everything is on schedule for the December 2010 opening of the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre‘, stated Paul Altman, Managing Director, Altman Real Estate, the developers of the property.

During a media tour and briefing today, Mr Altman confirmed that the project will be completed at a total cost of BBD$200 million. He spoke to the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre’s harmonious blend of Barbadian architecture with a contemporary style. In addition, the Centre will be an important feature of the revitalization of Holetown.

Mr Altman explained that the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre will offer a unique and exciting experience to both locals and tourists spending time here. He added, “visitors to Limegrove will be encouraged to spend all day with a wide variety of retail, dining, entertainment and cultural options.”

On opening Limegrove will employ 500 Barbadians as the home to 100 designer stores, cafés and restaurants. These include the Caribbean flagship stores of Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren.

This major tourist attraction will also house the PRIVA nightclub, Limegrove Cinemas, a world-class fitness centre and art gallery.

Construction of the Limegrove Lifestyle Centre began in February 2008 and will offer shoppers and tenants approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of retail space. There will be parking for 350 plus vehicles and 60 Residences for sale and rent.
