The beach here is a lovely quiet little bay. The water is calmer in this bay than nearby Silver Sands so makes a nice place for swimming.
Things to Do
All water sports participants know this beach as “Rescue Beach”, due to the currents, if a windsurfer or kite surfer loses their equipment further up the coast at Long Beach, Silver Rock or Silver Sands, this is where the current will wash it up.
It is ideal for romantic picnics especially at full moon.
More often than not you will be the only person on this beach, so a beautiful setting all to yourself!
