Pebbles beach is located on the south coast close to Bayview Hospital and George Washington House.
Things to Do
Pebbles Beach is currently having all of its recreational facilities updated, so check back to see what it has to offer when the programme is completed. Currently it has a children’s play area, benches for picnics and there is a lifeguard on duty.
This is a beautiful beach for swimming and the beach on the other side of the Hilton Hotel is a turtle-nesting beach, which is used as in indicator beach for the Caribbean region. Conservationists work hard to maintain the natural vegetation of this beach so that it continues to be an ideal ground for turtles to lay eggs. If you swim in this area you are bound to see a turtle or two who like to be petted and love to swim with you.
Until the renovation programme is complete you need to take food and drink with you, as there are no facilities close by.

From Bridgetown head along the south coast road towards Oistins, just past the Barbados Yacht Club, turn right just before the Texaco gas station. This will take you down to the car park, next door to the Hilton Hotel.
