Cockspur Beach Club formerly know as Malibu Beach Club and Visitor Centre is located on the south west coast of the island, in the parish of St. Michael. 

Things to Do
Cockspur beach club offers a tour of the West Indies Rum Distillery  and include the use of beach chairs, umbrellas and changing facilities, with a fully stocked bar and every cocktail you can imagine using Cockspur rum. 

There is also a beach side grill offering hamburgers and sandwiches, along with the Cockspur beach club souvenir shop.

The general tour takes you around the West Indies Rum Distillery giving you the history of rum and how it is made. This tour costs $10US for adults and children from 2 - 12 years are $5 US.

The Cockspur Beach Club is open Monday to Friday from 9 am until 5 pm.

Driving Directions
From Bridgetown head towards the Harbour, going past the Pelican Craft Centre, turn right and follow road until you reach the Elsie Payne roundabout, turn right here, then at traffic lights turn left on to the Spring Garden Highway, you will see the beach on your left and Workbench on your right, take the next left hand turn which is opposite Workbench and when you get to the cross roads at the bottom, turn right. You will see Cockspur Beach Club on your left at the end of the road.

We have been going to Malibu Beach Club for the past 10 years. We would pay one price for round trip transportation, chairs, umbrellas, lunch and drinks. Approx. $35.00 USD per person.Does the Cockspur Beach Club offer the same deal? We will be in Barbados in May 2010.

Now Called CockSpur Beach Club (Cockspur Rum made there) Great place, not crowded like all the other beaches $3.oo USD cab ride from Cruise Ship $10 for beach chair and umbrella
Drinks $3 to $4 usd Food very reasonable
