— Breadfruit
— Bacon (optional)
— Cheese sauce


— Peel breadfruit but leave the core.

— Wedge and boil in salted water till just cooked.

— Pour off water and cover.

— Make a thick cheese sauce with grated onion.

— Grease fireproof dish.

— Cut bacon into half-inch sections.

— Cut out breadfruit core and slice breadfruit thinly.

— Layer breadfruit, bacon, and cheese sauce till all used.

— Top with grated cheese and a few butter knobs.

— Bake till browned at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
